The systems are from ACT's STR Series of closed loop strip processors utilizing uniquely combined technologies, engineered to enhance coating removal, while preserving the solution viability by employing centrifugal separation systems shared between the pair of STR's. "These machines will take their shop from open top, poorly exhausted, and slow performing tanks to the latest in high performance chemical stripping as part of the continued initiative to improve DOD overhaul production and aircraft turnaround speed" said the company's GM, Dave Poirier. The project is expected to be completed by mid-March, 2010.
