New Fuel Separation System Released

ACT, Inc. has taken years of field experience removing floating contaminants from aqueous solutions and REVERSED it! Using our patented inverted wing design, our new Fuel Sep Super Skid is engineered to remove water contamination from fuels automatically, and without electricity.

Every large fuel distribution center must deal with hundreds if not thousands of gallons of fuel laced with condensate water on an annual basis. Options for cost effective disposal or remediation were limited, until now. The NEW ACT Fuel Sep System automatically separates virtually 100% of the fuel from the condensate.

How it works is truly unique. Applying Bernoulli's Principle (same principle that creates lift on aircraft) we invert the wings in a solution flow to create a pressure differential between the fuel and condensate; lighter specific gravity fuel is pushed UP while the heavier condensate is pulled DOWN. The fuel must spill over a weir and enters an on-board storage tank with level control or is pumped to your holding vessel. The residual water and medium is continually “squeezed” of floating hydrocarbon contaminates.

Speed is excellent as depending upon the contamination level, the system can be adjusted to operate continuously as long as the waste stream is added to the process tank. Optional water separating filtration to 25-micron is available and optional hydrocarbon absorbing units make the package completely closed loop.
