ACT Procures New CNC Equipment

Custom machinery building  means custom parts, often in very low quantities but with exacting dimensions and on fast schedules. Outside sources too often could not deliver either best pricing, or accuracy, and worst of all, timeliness. To rectify these issues, and help keep ACT’s designs the most competitive on the market, ACT researched the best tools available for its shop expansion. Fortunately, AMERICAN made tools still exist that fit the requirements for milling, cutting, and bending materials at the company. “We are very proud of the new Haas (California), Accurpress (South Dakota), and Multicam (Texas) machines, and even more so of the efforts our crew has made in training up for the safe and effective use of these machines on the shop floor”, Dave Poirier, General Manager, announced. “With this capability, and more to come over the next few months, there is literally no automated cleaning system we cannot design, and then build at the most cost effective prices possible for our customers. Buying American was my first focus on this project as it is my firm belief that American business MUST support American manufacturers. I don’t think America can survive as a consuming nation alone. Sure, it’s a global economy but taking the time to locate fine American-made equipment,  before jumping on lower priced imports, helps your neighbors and our way of life” he concluded.

Passion for building and supplying the best, supporting it with the best in customer service, and re-thinking new ways to overcome the pitfalls of old cleaning system designs, is keeping ACT on a fast growth curve even in this economy. We look forward to 2012 with our new tools making our systems even better!
