Immersion cleaning of parts has been around since the “dawn of time” but ACT systems improve upon this parts cleaning technique with the ability to generate significant hydraulic flushing action, directed spray under immersion, and enhanced cleaning action that delivers better, faster, and more consistent processing. The key element of our immersion system design is the employment of a platform elevator to oscillate the part load into and out of solution, at a flexible frequency setting. We call this approach “Dynamic Flow Processing”.

Turbulation

Better than soaking! This approach rapidly produces results by scrubbing soils and undesirable coatings completely from parts with even the most complex geometries.

Ultrasonics

Our immersible transducers are connected to generators that deliver low frequency ultrasonics at high watt density for general cleaning of heavy soils, or higher frequency ranges for precision cleaning. All controls are power variable, sweep frequency, and our immersible transducers are never welded to the tank floor.

Orbital Rotation Under Immersion

Blind holes in some parts require rotation to fill and drain with solution to wash away packed in soils. We can elevate and oscillate the rotation device to enhance the Dynamic Flow effect. Parts can be loose or fixtured rigidly to avoid part to part contact.

Hot Air Drying

Once again the platform oscillation of our design aids in the processing of parts. The changing air flow created around and through the part load with high volumes of heated and recirculated air dries parts very efficiently without the risks of high heat convection or the cost of compressed air.
