Advanced Oil Water Separation
One of the most common problems our clients seek an ACT solution for is a system to degrease their parts, or remove floating oil from their existing waste treatment facility. Degreasing has been around as long as parts cleaning has been practiced, but there is a huge difference in how to deal with the oil removed from the parts. Typically the industry relies on traditional polyophealic skimmer belts, discs, or even coalescing to try and remove the oil. They all work marginally well. However, the interface between the cleaning solution and the floating oil rapidly depletes the solution potency, and results in accelerated "muck" build-up in the tank bottom. Worse, in the waste treatment area, poor oil removal adds significantly to waste volume and costs for disposal. We have a better approach.
ACT integrates patented inverted wing skimming devices invented in Europe to rapidly remove the floating contaminants from any aqueous solution regardless of swings in the liquid level height.
