ACT Solution
ACT engineered a unique machine for manual or robot feed capabilities. The system was built to clean and dry hundreds of units per hour. The parts have pockets that retain material that had to be removed and ACT’s lab and process development team created the perfect marriage of flow and pressure to achieve the results. This system employed pressure up to 1000 psi and high impact nozzles with random hold downs to completely clean the top and bottom of the orthopedics. The final modules dried the parts with high-velocity air knives without consuming expensive compressed air.
