The customer was forced to scrap fuel delivery components due to an inability to remove tenacious carbon from ID surfaces.
ACT Solution
ACT model A3X- The system provides four individual and unique immersion flush stages to force varying solutions through the ID of up to 5 parts per load. Flow and pressures are similar to on the wing fuel delivery with real-time flow and pressure display per load. Operator has recipe creation ability to control pump outputs and pressure to 250 PSI, time, and temperature. Ultrasonics add impact and enhanced performance. All solution is automatically removed from the parts prior to each stage cycle completion. ACT designed, engineered, and machined in-house 125 sets of unique connectors for each of the four main fuel delivery components with custom racks.
