Cleaning aircraft wheels off the wing usually requires significant manual scrubbing. Worse, many shops are washing wheels in a low-power spray machine and then scrubbing by hand to actually get the wheel clean enough for NDT or re-build.

ACT model F42HDI- The aircraft wheel cleaning system is engineered to deliver the flow and pressure the operator selects. This flexibility allows for paint removal from the parts when desired, or more gentle processing when the landing gear must be quickly put back into service. ACT’s HDI machines deliver the flow via our patent-pending Agi-Blast™ package that aggressively moves the nozzles up to 200 times per minute to dramatically change nozzle angle delivery and force soils from even the tightest spaces such as lug areas and brakes. ACT’s HDI systems are built around customer component geometries and daily work throughput to safely hold wheels and related components while delivering speed with typical start to finish cycle times under 10-minutes!
