DOWN HOLE STATOR TUBE PROCESSING SYSTEM

The Problem

Today’s advanced energy extraction techniques require directional drilling processes. Motors sent downhole require maintenance with elastomers completely removed from stators. The removal process typically leaves significant residue behind that must be removed before the ID of the tool can be resurfaced.

In addition, the ability to remove abrasive blasting residual from the ID blasting process is required in order to create a fresh anchor pattern for the replacement rubber bonding.

ACT Solution

ACT has engineered and built numerous machines to clean the stator ID and OD with blasting all threads clean at the same time. The flow of heated detergent solution removes residues as the stator is automatically rotated to pump dirty solution out of the part. Rinse and heated drying cycles follow the wash cycle with an unbelievable total cycle time of under 3 minutes! Stators up to 32’ long and weighing 5000-lbs are safely and consistently cleaned with this unique technology.
